Aerial Cinema and Broadcast Services
The Ultimate in Stability
Intercut Productions provides world-class GSS Cinema Gimbal services for high-speed air-to-air missions and live-broadcast event coverage. From high speed intercepts to the rugged demands of the Lifetime Grand Prix, we deliver rock-solid 8K imagery where others can’t.
Why We Lead with GSS
At Intercut, we utilize the GSS Cinema Pro platform—the industry standard for high-performance stabilization. Unlike legacy systems, our GSS platform offer:
Zero Gimbal Lock: Follow the action through any maneuver without the horizon tumbling.
Lens Versatility: Quickly swap between long-range glass (Fujinon 25-1000mm) and cinema primes.
Vector Steering: Advanced metadata tracking for VFX and precision framing.
Specialized Aerial Production Services
Air-to-Air Filming
Capturing aircraft in motion requires more than just a camera; it requires a tactical understanding of flight paths. Intercut specializes in high-speed air-to-air cinematography, capturing general aviation, vintage aircraft, and backcountry aircraft with cinematic precision. Our team coordinates closely with lead pilots, airstrip managers, and the FAA to ensure safety and breathtaking "hero" shots.
Live Starlink Downlink: Seamless 4K transmission for immediate client review and feedback.
Legal, Logistics, and Permitting: We work closely with our partners at Oz Trails Heli and Legends Air Center under their Part 135 Charter Certificate to coordinate with the FAA as well as local and state agencies to ensure a safe production.
NBAA Award:
Capturing the spirit of aviation for the Meritorious Service to Aviation Award. To honor trailblazer Steuart Walton, Intercut Productions was commissioned by the NBAA to produce a landmark tribute film. This project required a masterclass in aerial coordination, featuring:
Dynamic Air-to-Air: Filming a diverse fleet ranging from the high-performance GB1 aerobatic aircraft to iconic WWII warbirds.
Narrative Storytelling: Beyond the technical flight, we integrated intimate ground-level storytelling to reflect Walton’s impact on the aviation community, from Bentonville to the global stage.
Live Broadcast & Endurance Sports
We are the premier choice for live-action aerials. With experience providing live coverage for the Lifetime Grand Prix and elite cycling/off-road events, we understand the nuances of tracking athletes across remote terrain.
Live Starlink Downlink: Seamless 4K transmission for immediate broadcast.
Endurance Specialist: We manage the fuel logistics and pilot rotations required for 10+ hour live event windows.
Legal, Logistics, and Permitting: We work closely with our partners at Oz Trails Heli and Legends Air Center under their Part 135 Charter Certificate to coordinate with the FAA as well as local and state agencies to ensure a safe production.
Proven in the Clouds and on the Course
The Lifetime Grand Prix:
Providing a bird’s eye view of the world’s most grueling off-road bike races. We deployed GSS-equipped helicopters to track lead groups across 100+ miles of unpredictable terrain, delivering stable, high-bitrate footage for a global audience.
